Fernando Aguilar roams around a forest at the world’s end collecting the fragments that make up the circle of life, from the moment we are born until our death. The artist feels the forest and envisions the intrinsic light and shade of the fallen trees. A dead tree gives life to art, it becomes a material and a sculpture, turning into something we share with nature. The pain of loss can be seen in 500 year old trees. Sculpture is the present and blends our views with the intimate transcendence of nature.
